The Problem Of Evil And Suffering
In the modern West, the problem of evil and suffering remains one of the greatest challenges to faith: If God is good and all-powerful, why do evil and suffering exist? If He cares, why doesn’t He intervene? And if He can intervene but doesn’t, what does that say about His goodness? What makes this even more difficult is that suffering refuses to stay philosophical—often forcing itself into our lives without permission. What do we do with that tension?
